about CANDOR BREAD
“Candor” is the quality of being open and honest. That’s us. Our natural leaven came from a café regular in 2015, where we started out in the kitchen of Davis Street Espresso. Back then, we decided to provide delicious coffee and everything that goes well with it. Well, bread goes with it.
For us, candor means traditional methods and traditional ingredients. That’s why we chose sourdough. And we don’t cut corners. Sourdough takes time. It takes artistry. And we love the work of putting those together. Candor Bread is leavening Oak Cliff.
Our CURRENT BREADS
Have you ever had handmade sourdough bread? It’s amazing. Have you ever tried to make it? It’s tough. Why don’t you have us do it for you? We’re already baking, so we might as well make one or two more. With a caramelized, crisp crust and a tangy, chewy center, this loaf leaves no room for regrets.
All of our breads are made with Panhandle Milling White Wheat Flour.
